Dollar Tree Candy Canes

Here are some plastic candy canes I found at the Dollar Tree.  They started out pretty ugly.  I covered them with warm and natural and then with homespun fabric.  You can see here they are already looking a lot better!

And here is a picture of the finished candy cane.  I couldn't get a good picture.  But they are so cute, really.  They are super fun and easy to make, I recommend going to your local Dollar Tree and buying a bunch.  They would make awesome gifts too.  Hard to believe what a little fabric, hot glue and greenery can do!!

Prim Candy Cane

I made some of these prim wood candy canes for my only craft show I'm doing this year.  It is super cute and I think it would look amazing out on the front porch.  Honestly, I wasn't sure how it was going to look when I first started and it was just a piece of wood in the shape of a candy cane!  I just love how it came out!

It's Official!
